Sisters and Brothers,
Please come by to help out with our Door-Knocking Blitz on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 11th and 12th.
Our Blitzes are a critical and valuable part of our overall organizing efforts to grow our Local Union.

Henry Miller Story
We're getting back to the principles of our founding member Henry Miller and talking face-to-face with electrical workers about the benefits of joining together for better wages, benefits and working conditions. And creating a better society where more workers have a voice in their workplace and the ability to enjoy the American Dream.
The “blitz” is primarily focused on talking with unrepresented (non-union) electricians on their doorsteps about the electrical construction industry throughout our jurisdiction and sharing opportunities available through IBEW membership.
Our ability to improve wages/benefits and working conditions is dictated by union density and market share and those are increased by increasing our membership. Growing our union is good for all of us!
We’ll begin Tuesday at 4:00pm at our Training Center (3210 E. Ferry Ave. Spokane)with food and a brief training session about the Blitz, then out knocking on doors.
Wednesday we will meet at the Union Hall at 9:30am for the Northwest Organizers' monthly meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend. (this meeting is usually in Portland) And then again at 4:00pm at the Training Center for some food and de-brief of the day before, then head out around 4:30pm to finish up visiting unrepresented electrician's houses.
We look forward to seeing you at the Blitz and please feel free to attend just for the door-knocking or the Northwest Organizers' meeting or whatever you want.
If you are planning to attend, please email us at info@ibew73.org so we can work on your routing paperwork. We will need your email address.
(food and drinks will be provided)
In Solidarity,
Ken Brown
