The Spokane Regional Labor Council, the Northeast Washington/Northern Idaho Building and Construction Trades Council and the Washington State Labor Council are non-partisan organizations. They use a candidate endorsement process that ensures the delegates representing the affiliated unions can make informed decisions about candidates. The candidates are asked to fill out a questionnaire and are invited to participate in an interview with the delegates of the council(s).  The delegates then recommend and vote on whether to endorse the candidates. The process is used to identify where candidates stand on issues of importance to union members and their families. The above candidates have earned labor’s endorsement for the upcoming Primary Election.
