    FIRST STUDENT DRIVERS AND MONITORS IN NAPERVILLE WIN WAGE THEFT SETTLEMENT
    01/16/19 - Teamsters Local 179
    First Student drivers and monitors in Naperville who are members of Locals 179 and 673 have won a 2015 class action lawsuit against the company for wage theft.  Drivers and monitors in other locations also took part in the lawsuit. In total, 400 workers will be receiving $687.00 each for a total of $274,800.00.

    El Paso police are investigating an officer-involved shooting.  It happened on Trawood Drive near George Dieter Drive Monday morning.  Darrel Petry, spokesman for the El Paso Police Department said they received several calls about shots fired in a neighborhood nearby.   He said they pursued a man who they believed was involved in the incident.
